This explains how Kin Sauna (Kin Sauna Limited) uses your personal information. We are the data controller. Contact us at hello@kinsauna.co.uk. We are registered with the ICO (ZC150027).

What we collect and why. We collect your booking details (name, contact details, appointment information) to take and manage your booking. Before using the sauna and cold plunge you complete a short health confirmation — confirming you are fit and that none of the listed conditions apply. We don’t ask you to list any conditions. Because this relates to your health we treat it with extra care and keep it only with your consent. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.

Our legal bases. We process booking details because it’s necessary to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)). We process your health confirmation on the basis of our legitimate interest in your safety (Article 6(1)(f)) and your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), and we keep it afterwards to deal with any health, safety or legal claim (Articles 6(1)(f) and 9(2)(f)).

You can withdraw consent any time at hello@kinsauna.co.uk.How long we keep it. Health confirmations for 3 years (the period a personal-injury claim could be brought); booking and payment records for 6 years (tax). Nothing longer than needed.

Who we share it with. Wix (website), Acuity Scheduling (bookings) and Stripe (payments), all under data-processing agreements. We never sell your data.

Storing data outside the UK. Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace) stores data in the United States, protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If you book for others. Please make sure they’re happy for you to share their details, and that each person completes their own health confirmation.

Your rights. You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. Email hello@kinsauna.co.uk; we’ll respond within one month.

Cookies. Our website uses cookies; you can manage non-essential ones via the banner on our site.

Complaints. Email hello@kinsauna.co.uk and we’ll acknowledge within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
